Installation & Foundation Guide Given its 165kg total weight and expansive footprint, install this water feature on a firm, completely flat, and compacted foundation. A level bed of compacted gravel/crusher run, paving slabs, or a smooth concrete pad will ensure the large pond basin sits evenly without strain. Check all levels before filling. Route the pump hosing through the pond up into the Betsy Baby stand and connect internally to the hippo's nozzle inlets (submersible pump sold separately).
