Woodpecker Bird Bath Set

Product Description The Woodpecker Bird Bath Set is an artistic, nature-inspired garden water feature sculpted in an authentic faux-bois aesthetic to replicate weathered, hollowed timber. The piece takes its signature character from an intricately detailed upright pedestal trunk, adorned with realistic hollows, crevices, and drilled foraging cavities reminiscent of a woodland woodpecker nesting tree. The dish above forms an organic, gently scooped cross-section slab of timber with deeply scored bark contours along the perching rim.

Moulded from heavy-duty cast stone concrete, this sturdy garden set weighs an impressive 43kg. Standing at a well-balanced height of 78cm, it elevates the water basin safely above ground-level pests, creating a predator-safe freshwater oasis for garden birds while serving as a captivating rustic focal point in cottage gardens, woodland clearings, and shrub borders.

Care & Maintenance

• Placement: Position the trunk pedestal upright on a solid, level footing—such as a flagstone paver, garden step, or firmly compacted gravel bed—before seating the top dish securely in place.
• Cleaning & Hygiene: Refresh the water regularly and scrub the dish using a stiff bristle brush and clean water to prevent algae buildup and mosquito larvae.
• Shelter Positioning: Situate within 2 to 4 metres of nearby trees or shrubs to provide birds with a convenient lookout perch and quick safety cover if startled.
• Winter / Freeze Care: In areas subject to severe freezing conditions, drain standing water during hard frosts to prevent concrete stress caused by ice expansion.
