Installation & Foundation Guide Install on a firm, flat, and well-compacted base to evenly distribute the 52kg weight. A level surface of compacted crusher run, solid garden pavers, or a flat concrete slab is recommended. Check levelness with a spirit level before adding water to ensure the cascade overflows evenly across the front rock spillway. Connect a standard submersible pond pump positioned inside the pond basin and route flexible piping up to the inlet on the Cliff Top (pump and hosing sold separately).

Maintenance & Care

Keep the pond properly filled with clean water to ensure the submersible pump intake remains fully covered.
Periodically scoop out fallen leaves, twigs, and debris to keep the water clear and prevent pump blockage.
Treat regularly with a fish-safe, bird-friendly algaecide to prevent green film on the cliff ledge and basin floor.
In areas subject to severe winter freezing, lower the water level or drain the basin to avoid frost expansion stress on the concrete.
