Ocimum basilicum ‘Red Rubin’ is a striking basil variety known for its deep purple foliage and rich, aromatic flavour. The leaves have a slightly stronger, spicier taste than traditional green basil, making them ideal for culinary use as well as garnishing.
This variety is both ornamental and edible, producing attractive purple leaves and soft pink to lavender flowers that add colour and interest to herb gardens and containers.
