Installation & Foundation Guide Install on a firm, flat, and well-compacted foundation to properly support the 95kg concrete structure. A level base of compacted crusher run, thick garden pavers, or a flat concrete pad is ideal to prevent settling. Use a spirit level across all tiers before filling with water to ensure balanced overflow across each cascading ledge. Submerge a standard submersible pond pump in the lower reservoir and run flexible tubing up through the back channel to the top rock intake (submersible pump sold separately).
Maintenance & Care
- Keep the lower basin filled with clean water to ensure the submersible pump intake remains fully covered during operation.
- Periodically clear fallen leaves, petals, and organic debris from all three pool levels to maintain unobstructed water flow.
- Treat with a wildlife-safe, concrete-friendly algaecide to prevent green film buildup along the spillways and pebble beds.
- In regions subject to severe winter freezing, lower water levels or drain the basin to safeguard against frost expansion damage to the concrete.
