Common Names: Artichoke Agave, Parryâs Agave âTruncataâ, Compact Parryâs Agave
đ Product Description
Agave parryi var. truncata is a highly ornamental succulent admired for its perfectly symmetrical, compact rosette of thick blue-grey leaves. The leaves are broad and short with distinctive dark terminal spines, giving the plant a sculptural, artichoke-like appearance.
This slow-growing agave is prized in modern landscapes and succulent collections for its strong geometric form and striking colour. It creates a bold focal point in rock gardens, xeriscapes, and container plantings.
Well adapted to dry climates, this agave thrives in South African water-wise gardens and requires very little maintenance once established.
