Care & Maintenance

• Light: Plant in an open, fully sun-drenched position to encourage maximum flower bud development and rich foliage density.
• Watering: Provide regular water while the young plant establishes its root system. Mature vines require minimal watering except during prolonged dry periods.
• Support: Secure flexible climbing canes to a sturdy trellis, pergola, or wire support system early on to guide its expansive growth.
• Pruning: Prune immediately after the heavy spring flowering finishes, as flower buds form on previous year's wood. Avoid heavy late-season pruning to protect the upcoming bloom cycle.
• Feeding: Apply a balanced, slow-release organic rose or flowering shrub fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges.
