Installation & Foundation Guide Install on a firm, flat, and well-compacted foundation to evenly distribute the 70kg weight. A level base of compacted crusher run, sturdy garden pavers, or a flat concrete pad is ideal to prevent settling over time. Check the pond rim with a spirit level before filling to ensure water levels remain uniform and the cascade flows smoothly through each twisting shelf. Submerge a standard pond pump inside the basin reservoir and route flexible tubing up to the intake manifold located behind the Twister Top (submersible pump sold separately).
Maintenance & Care
- Keep the Twister Pond filled with clean water so the submersible pump intake remains fully covered during operation.
- Periodically remove fallen leaves, blossoms, and garden debris to keep water clear and pump intakes unobstructed.
- Treat with a concrete-friendly, bird- and wildlife-safe algaecide to prevent green algae buildup along the spillway shelves and basin floor.
