Botanical Name: Crassula capitella subsp. thyrsiflora
Common Names: Red Pagoda, Campfire Crassula, Pagoda Crassula, Red Crassula
📌 Product Description
Crassula capitella subsp. thyrsiflora is a striking succulent known for its stacked triangular leaves arranged along trailing stems, forming a distinctive pagoda-like structure. The foliage ranges from green to deep red, with colour intensifying dramatically in full sun or cooler weather.
During the flowering season, the plant produces delicate clusters of small white star-shaped flowers on upright stems above the foliage, creating a beautiful contrast with the red-toned leaves.
This adaptable and colourful succulent spreads easily to form attractive groundcover or cascading growth in containers, making it ideal for rock gardens, succulent arrangements, and water-wise landscapes across South Africa.
