Common Names: Baltic Ivy, Baltic English Ivy, Hedera Baltica
📌 Product Description
Hedera helix ‘Baltica’, commonly known as Baltic Ivy, is a hardy evergreen climbing vine valued for its dense growth and attractive dark green foliage. The leathery, lobed leaves form thick coverage, making it ideal for walls, fences, and shaded groundcover areas.
This vigorous ivy variety grows quickly and attaches itself to surfaces using aerial rootlets, allowing it to climb structures or spread as a dense carpet along the ground. Baltic Ivy is known for being more cold tolerant than many other ivy varieties and performs well in a wide range of conditions.
Low maintenance and highly adaptable, it is commonly used in South African landscapes for screening, erosion control, and decorative greenery.
