Acanthus mollis, commonly known as Bears Breeches, is a striking perennial known for its large, deeply lobed, glossy green foliage and tall spikes of white flowers with purple bracts. Its architectural leaves and dramatic flower spikes make it an excellent feature plant for borders, cottage gardens, and Mediterranean-style landscapes.

This hardy plant is drought-tolerant, low-maintenance, and adds structure and texture to South African gardens.
