Agapanthus ‘Blackjack’ is a bold, modern agapanthus cultivar prized for its very dark purple to near-black flower buds, which open to deep violet-blue blooms in summer. The dramatic flower colour contrasts beautifully with its lush, evergreen green foliage, making it a standout feature plant. Hardy and exceptionally low maintenance, this variety is ideal for borders, mass plantings, containers, and contemporary landscape designs in South African gardens. It is also drought tolerant once established and performs well in coastal conditions.
