Product Description
Camellia japonica (Double Red) is a stunning evergreen shrub known for its large, double, rose-like blooms in deep red. These long-lasting flowers appear in the cooler months and provide strong colour contrast against glossy, dark green foliage. This variety is ideal for shaded gardens, woodland settings, formal borders, patio containers and hedging, adding elegance and seasonal interest to South African landscapes.

- Growth is slow to moderate; plants can be maintained smaller with light pruning.
Best Growing Conditions

- Soil: Acidic, well-drained, organic-rich soil (pH ±5.5–6.5). Avoid alkaline or lime-rich soils.
