Woodnest Birdbath Top & Stand

Product Description The Woodnest Birdbath Top & Stand is a handcrafted, nature-inspired garden water feature sculpted in an organic faux-bois aesthetic to recreate the rugged charm of weathered woodland hollows. The centerpiece basin is shaped like a natural wooden nest, detailed with deeply grooved bark ridges, gnarled timber textures, and naturalistic hollowed crevices that form a welcoming, sheltered bathing bowl. Inside, the dish accommodates fresh water lined with smooth river stones, providing varied depths and non-slip perching ledges for garden birds.

Cast in high-density, durable concrete, the assembled set weighs an impressive 52kg, ensuring robust ground stability against heavy winds, shifting soil, and garden activity. Its well-balanced 73cm height elevates the water safely above surrounding foliage, making it a predator-safe sanctuary for wildlife and an earthy, textured focal point for woodland gardens, shrub borders, rockeries, and patio courtyards.

Care & Maintenance

• Placement: Position the pedestal stand upright on a solid, level footing—such as a flagstone paver, flat garden step, or compacted gravel bed—before seating the basin securely in place.
• Cleaning & Hygiene: Scrub the bowl periodically with a stiff bristle brush and clean water to prevent algae growth, and keep the water topped up with fresh water for visiting wildlife.
• Positioning: Situate within 2 to 4 metres of nearby trees or sheltering shrubs so birds have a safe resting point and an easy escape route when startled.
