Cape Thatch is a striking, architectural, evergreen restio indigenous to the Western Cape of South Africa. It forms tall, upright clumps of reed-like green stems, making it ideal for modern landscapes, screening, accent planting, and water-wise gardens. Traditionally harvested for thatching, this plant is also highly valued as a low-maintenance ornamental that adds texture and movement to gardens.
