• Spread: Approximately 1 m – 2 m
• Grows as a dense clump rather than a single trunk, remaining manageable and neat.

Best Growing Conditions

• Light: Bright, indirect light indoors or partial to full shade outdoors. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
• Soil: Well-drained, fertile soil or quality potting mix with good organic content.
• Watering: Water regularly, keeping soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings.
• Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity; benefits from occasional misting, especially indoors.
• Temperature: Thrives in warm conditions; ideal range 18–28 °C. Protect from cold drafts and frost.
• Feeding: Apply a balanced liquid fertiliser during the active growing season.

• Planting & Seasonal Guidance (South Africa)

• Best Time to Plant: Spring to early summer, when temperatures are warm and growth is most active.
• Growing Season: Active growth occurs from spring through summer.
• Winter Care: Growth slows in cooler months; reduce watering and protect outdoor plants from cold or frost. Indoor plants continue growing slowly year-round in warm conditions.
