- Perfectly balanced soil mix for the planting and repotting of succulents and cacti
- All cacti and succulents need repotting from time to time for the following reason:
- To allow enough room for maximum root-growth
- Choose a clean pot that is large enough to accommodate new growth
- Lay the plant on its side and twist off the old pot
- Remove any old loose compost from the root ball and tease out the roots
- Cut any dead roots
- Holding the plant at the top of the root ball, carefully drop it into pot
- Straighten it and lightly firm soil mix
- Newly planted cactuses are best left unwatered for the two weeks following the repotting
