Vermiculite helps to aerate soil while simultaneously retaining water and nutrients, which it then releases over time. Vermiculite is therefore useful in seed sowing and propagation. It can also be added to house plant compost.

An inert, naturally occuring, expanded mineral used to improve seed germination and water retention. Vermiculite as an additive for seed and horticultural use:

• Stabilises moisture levels.
• Prevents fungal & mould growth.
• Prevents the rooting medium from dying out.
• Promotes plant health and growth.
