Installation & Foundation Guide Install on a firm, flat, and well-compacted foundation such as leveled paving slabs, compacted crusher run, or firm garden soil topped with bedding sand. Check the pond rim with a spirit level before filling to ensure water recirculates properly and spills evenly across the front ledge of the rock top. Position a submersible pond pump inside the basin, run flexible hosing to the top inlet and bottom bubbler tee, and connect to a safe outdoor electrical connection (submersible pump sold separately).
Maintenance & Care
- Keep the pond basin filled with clean water to prevent the submersible pump from running dry.
- Regularly clear fallen leaves, twigs, and plant debris from the basin to keep water clean and pump intakes clear.
- Treat periodically with a concrete-safe, bird- and wildlife-friendly algaecide to keep the rock surfaces free of green film.
