The Makino's Stonecrop (Sedum makinoi) is a low-growing, evergreen succulent prized for its attractive carpet of small, rounded, bright green leaves that create a lush, dense groundcover. This versatile plant spreads gently by creeping stems, making it an excellent choice for rockeries, borders, retaining walls, containers, and between paving stones.
During summer, clusters of delicate star-shaped yellow flowers appear above the foliage, adding seasonal colour while attracting bees and other beneficial pollinators. Its drought tolerance and low-maintenance nature make it an excellent option for water-wise gardens and contemporary landscape designs.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It thrives in containers indoors with bright light and performs exceptionally well outdoors in sunny to lightly shaded positions.
