Aloe marlothii, commonly known as the Mountain Aloe, is a striking large succulent known for its massive rosette of grey-green leaves covered in prominent reddish-brown spines. As it matures, it forms a single trunk, creating a bold, sculptural presence in the landscape.
This species is particularly admired for its dramatic winter flowering display, producing tall, branched candelabra-like inflorescences with bright orange to yellow flowers. The blooms attract birds, especially sunbirds, adding life to the garden during cooler months.
