Aloidendron barberae, commonly known as the Tree Aloe, is a magnificent indigenous succulent tree renowned for its massive size and striking architectural form. It develops a thick trunk that branches into a broad, rounded crown of large grey-green leaf rosettes.
This iconic species creates a bold focal point in landscapes and is especially valued for its sculptural appearance. In winter, it produces tubular pink to salmon-coloured flowers that attract birds and pollinators.
