📌 Product Description

Nandina domestica ‘Pygmaea’, commonly known as Dwarf Sacred Bamboo, is a compact, slow-growing evergreen shrub admired for its fine-textured, bamboo-like foliage and vibrant seasonal colours. Its new foliage emerges bright green to reddish tones, maturing to deep green, while autumn and winter bring shades of red and bronze, adding year-round interest.

Unlike standard Nandina, the Pygmaea variety remains compact, making it perfect for small gardens, borders, container planting, and low hedges in South Africa. In late spring to early summer, it produces delicate clusters of white flowers, followed by bright red berries that attract birds and wildlife.
