Product Description Plectranthus Ciliatus Yellow is a lush, ornamental semi-succulent perennial prized for its luminous golden-chartreuse to lime-yellow foliage and graceful cascading habit. The attractively scalloped leaves are lightly quilted with fine eyelash-like marginal hairs (cilia) and feature striking purple-flushed undersides and reddish stems. From mid-season onward, it produces an abundance of upright, delicate racemes carrying pale white-to-blush-pink hooded flowers that rise above the cascading canopy.

Supplied established in a 20cm hanging container, this vigorous indigenous grower forms an immediate overflowing curtain of bright, light-reflecting foliage. Naturally suited to dappled shade, shaded verandas, and tree canopies, it excels as an effortless hanging specimen, spreading groundcover, or cascading feature over retaining walls and patio planters.

Care & Maintenance

Light: Position where it receives bright, filtered light or morning sun. Avoid harsh, direct afternoon sun which can scorch the bright golden foliage.
Watering: Water thoroughly, allowing excess to drain freely from the container. Let the top 2–3cm of soil dry out before watering again to keep the root system healthy.
Feeding: Feed every 4 to 6 weeks with a balanced liquid organic fertiliser during the active spring and summer growing season.
Grooming: Pinch back branch tips occasionally to promote a denser, bushier habit, and prune spent flowering spikes at their base once finished.
