Botanical Name: Aloidendron barberae (formerly Aloe bainesii)
Common Names: Tree Aloe, Giant Aloe, Baines’ Aloe

📌 Product Description

Aloidendron barberae, commonly known as the Tree Aloe, is one of the largest aloe species and a true statement plant in South African landscapes. This impressive succulent forms a thick trunk that branches into a rounded crown of large rosettes with smooth grey-green leaves.

As it matures, the tree develops a sculptural, architectural form that makes it ideal as a focal point in large gardens and estates. In winter, it produces tubular pink to salmon flowers that attract birds and pollinators.

Highly drought tolerant and long-lived, this iconic indigenous plant is perfect for creating a bold, low-maintenance landscape feature.
